The Angel Tree at Sts. Simon & Jude is a beloved tradition that brings the joy of Christmas to children in need—and unites our parish in generous love and service.
The process begins on the Plaza, where parishioners can pick up an angel ornament representing a specific child and their gift wish. Over the following weeks, donations are returned to the Plaza, and volunteers come together to wrap each gift with care.
But it doesn't end there. The heart of the Angel Tree is the final celebration: we invite the children to SSJ for a joyful day filled with fun activities, warm hospitality, and the unforgettable moment when they receive their gifts. It’s more than a donation—it’s a reminder to each child that they are seen, loved, and cherished.
This is a beautiful way for our parish to put faith into action, embracing the spirit of Christmas and sharing the light of Christ with families in need.
