Guardian Angel Closet

Our ministry was established in January 2021 to help parishioners who need a hand up. Buying kids clothing can be costly as our children grow and frequently need new sizes. With rent, mortgage, car and utility payments due every month, finding affordable clothes for many families is often a struggle. SSJ’s Guardian Angel Closet clothing ministry can help fill the gap by providing for the needs of families in our church and community.

Ways to Volunteer

We need volunteers willing to help sort clothes, assist shoppers, manage the check-out area and pray with individuals and families as they leave. This is a great service project for individuals.

Ways to Support

Donate gently-used or new clothing, shoes, coats and accessories in good condition so that others can benefit from them. We accept all clothing and shoes from newborn to adult sizes in all selections — casual, sports, dress, and maternity, for example. Please have closed washed and ready to use. However, we prefer NEW socks and undergarments (still in packaging). Or you may make a monetary donation to Guardian Angel Closet. Please consideration the dignity of these families when you are donating.
