Alliance of the Hearts
Join us for the Alliance of the Hearts Devotion—a beautiful expression of love and reparation to the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Each First Saturday, we gather as a parish community to honor their united suffering and love through prayer, reflection, and the Sacraments. Come grow in grace and peace as we walk the path of devotion together.
Activity
Angel Tree
The Angel Tree is our annual Christmas outreach where parishioners choose a child’s angel from the Plaza, shop for their gift, and return the donation to help make a child’s Christmas brighter. Volunteers then wrap the gifts and host a special celebration where the children come to SSJ, enjoy a fun-filled day, and receive their presents with joy and love.
Community
Bread of Life Homeschoolers
Bread of Life is a Catholic homeschooling organization outside of SSJ, but a wonderful resource for our families. We’re proud to collaborate with them in supporting faith-filled education. With over 275 families, they offer First Friday Mass and Park Days, Mom’s Faith & Fellowship, and teen faith events.
Activity
Catechism Huddle
Catechism Huddles are monthly Sunday gatherings where adults dive deeper into the truths of the faith explored in our Faith Formation sessions. These small group-style discussions build on the topics from our Adult Breakouts, offering space for reflection, conversation, and community.
Activity
Communal First Saturday
Communal First Saturday is held on the first Saturday of each month at Sts. Simon & Jude. In response to Our Lady of Fatima’s request, we gather for Confession, Rosary, Mass, and meditation to offer reparation and grow in love for the Immaculate Heart of Mary. All are welcome to take part in this beautiful devotion.
Community
Communal First Saturday Apostolate
The Communal First Saturdays Apostolate helps parishioners fulfill Our Lady of Fatima’s request by coming together to pray and perform the four First Saturdays devotions as a community, strengthening reparation and offering a powerful public witness for peace and salvation.
Activity
Holy Week Missions
Step into Holy Week with purpose. Join us for a series of mission opportunities — both at SSJ and in the community — designed to help you serve, reflect, and grow closer to Christ. Open to all ages with special tracks for youth and children. Make this Holy Week one of encounter and action.
Activity
Parish Day of Reflection
Our Parish Day of Reflection is a Lenten retreat focused on deepening our understanding of the Catholic faith. Held especially for those journeying through OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults), this reflective day is open to the entire parish community and offers a beautiful opportunity to grow together in prayer, learning, and spiritual renewal.
