Mother of Perpetual Help - Our Mother of Perpetual Help, also known as Our Lady of Perpetual Help or Our Lady of Succour is a title given to the Blessed Mother by Pope Pius IX, in association with a sacred Byzantine icon dating back to the 14th century. For well over half a millennium, the faithful have flocked to images of Our Mother of Perpetual Help seeking her intercession for a wide range of petitions including for strength, comfort, protection, healing, maternal guidance, and freedom from temptations. Countless miracles over the centuries have been attributed through the intercession of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Music Ministry –Come and make a joyful noise with SSJ Music Ministry.  We are always looking for singers and instrumentalists for one of our weekend choirs, our funeral choir, or young voices for our Children's Choir.  

Rosary Group - The Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercyis prayed in the church Monday through Friday following 8:30am Mass, from 9:15-10:00am.  On Thursday evenings the Luminous Mysteries are prayed from 7:30pm – 8:30pm, in the church.  All are encouraged by Our Blessed Mother to pray the Rosary. Roses of the Lamb – We are an intercessory prayer group of men and women devoted to both Our Blessed Mother Mary Rosa Mystica and Jesus, the Lamb of God.  As the Perfect Intercessor, we pray through Mary to Jesus for our parish lifting up the prayer requests of parishioners and intentions placed in the St. Simon and Jude petition box.    We invite you to join us in praying for our parish, in sharing our faith journeys and reflecting on the challenges of living as a Catholic in today's world. St. Paul tells us "With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit."   (Eph 6:18)

Sacristan – The Sacristan prepares the Sanctuary for the Mass: Roman Missal & Lectionary in place; ciboria with hosts, small chalices with wine & priest's chalice in place; Sanctus bells in place; prepare incense when needed. Spiritual Directors – Spiritual direction is increasingly sought by people today who desire to have a deeper relationship with God. The gift of spiritual direction is the process of deepening your relationship with God. It is a privileged time and place to confidentially reflect upon this relationship in the company of a trusted person, always keeping in mind that the Holy Spirit is the true director. These meetings can be helpful during those times in which God seems distant, as well as when you are keenly aware of God's presence in your life. The Watchmen – The purpose of the Watchmen is for men of Sts. Simon and Jude to connect on a regular basis.  We join together in prayer, meditation, and support of each other.  Our focus is on prayer, scripture, traditions, and our role as Catholic Men.  We meet in Room 3 each Friday morning before the work day at 6:00am with our Bibles for coffee and friendship in Christ.  All men of faith are welcome in this group.  Joe Till, till34@yahoo.com

Visiting Holy Child (Santo Nino) - The special devotion to the Holy Child originated with the Carmelites in the city of Prague in the beginning of the 17th century. In one of His apparitions He said "The more you honor Me, the more I will bless you."  The list of blessings attributed by devotees is endless: health restored, financial problems solved, gifts of peace of mind and soul and innumerable healings both physical and spiritual.  The Filipino American Council schedules the Holy Child to visit the home of His devotees.

Vocations Ministry - This ministry supports vocations through prayer and activities in the parish and throughout the Diocese. Our goal is to help make Sts. Simon and Jude Parish aware we are all called to a vocation be it through a religious life, our professional life, or in our marriage.
