APRIL 15, 2017 Easter Vigil Mass - Rites of Initiation into the Catholic Church

The community of SSJ welcomed Kaitlyn Marie Lackett (adult), Ceejay Noah Campbell, Timothy Christopher Campbell, Avyen Joe Campbell, Emily Margaret Sumrall, Genevieve Acevedo, Vivian Acevedo, Nathan Alexander Cornejo, Dylan Jose Cornejo, Cora Macaye Martin (teens and children) who completed their faith journey through the RCIA, and received the Initiation Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

The community also welcomed Stephanie Renee Giesler, and Nathan Bosley York who were received into the Catholic Church by a Profession of Faith, Confirmation and Eucharist. Also included was Courtney Taylor Hamlyn who completed her initiation sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. The entire group has been supported by their Catholic Sponsor, the RCIA Team and the Catechists, and the Community of SSJ.  Congratulations all!

MARCH 5, 2017

On Sunday, March 5, 2017 The catechumens (unbaptized) signed the Book of the Elect which was presented to Cardinal DiNardo that same evening at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. The candidates (baptized) were recognized for their efforts and were also recognized by the Cardinal that evening. These adults, teens and children will enter the Catholic Church at Easter Vigil.

FEBRUARY 12, 2017

The community of SSJ welcomed Patricia Pribilski, Tori Morgan,  Gary Miller, Tyler Kennedy, Rachel Huegel, Cody Bielamowicz, and Phillip Gardzelewski,  baptized Christians who completed their faith journey through the RCIA, and celebrated the Rite of Reception into the Catholic Church on February 12, through a Profession of Faith, Confirmation, and Eucharist.  The SSJ Community also welcomed Cody Bielamowicz who completed his Catholic formation for Confirmation and Eucharist.
