Roses of the Lamb Ministry

at St. Simon and Jude is an intercessory prayer group of men and women devoted to Our Blessed Mother Mary Rosa Mystic and Jesus, the Lamb of God.   The prayer group has been meeting for over a year to pray for all of the petitions that have been placed in the SSJ prayer petition box located in the church narthex. Kendall Lasseigne, Ministry Head of Roses of the Lamb, recently traveled to Italy in July on a pilgrimage with the Roses of the Lamb group from Louisiana.  Kendall carried all of the SSJ petitions from the past year on the pilgrimage and were placed upon the altars and offered up at each daily mass. Here are pictures of Kendall and the other pilgrims in Rome at St. Peter’s Basilica placing the petitions in the Pope’s petition offertory box with Fr. Ken Domingue from Leonville, Louisiana praying over them. They completely filled thePope’s petition box before all petitions could be placed in the box.   The group then carried the remainder of the petitions to Padre Pio’s shrine in San Giovanni Rotunda, Italy and placed in the petition box. Pope Francis will offer up the petitions in his prayers for one year and at Padre Pio’s shrine the petitions will be offered up at daily mass for a year. If you have any questions and need to tweak it don’t hesitate - kendall.lasseigne@gmail.com.
