Pet Blessing

Join us as we celebrate the Memorial of St. Francis of Assisi, the beloved patron saint of animals and creation, with a special Blessing of the Pets. St. Francis had a deep love for all of God’s creatures and saw in them a reflection of God’s goodness and beauty. In his spirit, we gather to give thanks for the gift of our pets—our faithful companions who bring joy, comfort, and unconditional love into our lives.

Bring your dogs, cats, birds, fish, or any other beloved animals to receive a blessing and a prayer of protection. This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, honor God’s creation, and celebrate the special bond we share with our pets.

Whether you have a furry, feathered, or scaly friend, all are welcome! Let’s come together as a parish community to rejoice in God’s gift of creation and ask for His blessing upon the animals who enrich our lives every day.
