Here are some handouts to help prepare at home:

Choose your First Sacrament date here.
Please review all three dates on the link before you complete the sign up.
It's required to attend the Review Huddle, First Reconciliation, and the First Communion date for the month you select.

Keep practicing prayers: Sign of the Cross, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be & Act of Contrition.

April & May First Communion Mass times are full. Please add your name to the waiting list for the next Mass to be scheduled.

Sacrament Preparation: First Reconciliation and First Communion Requirements:

  •                 Baptized

  •                  2nd grade and above

  •                 Participated in Faith Formation the year prior to enrollment.

  •                 Attend First Reconciliation/First Communion Retreat.

  •                 Choose a SSJ Service project!

Sacrament Preparation is home-based.
Parents will be given the curriculum and instructions to prepare their children to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.

If your child is 7 or older and unbaptized, please contact Sonya Thibert directly about RCIA for children.

Once completed parents can choose a Mass for First Communion. First Communion Mass times are chosen on a first-come-first-serve basis. You can choose your Mass time before completing the requirements, but the Sacraments will not be received until all work is completed and requirements met.

Before First Communion Mass, children will meet in a “huddle” to review their prayers, rehearse for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and ensure they have completed all the requirements.

When choosing a Mass time please review the times of the accompanying family huddle and Reconciliation date since all 3 are required.
