Reconciliación y Primera Comunión
Who can register for the Sacraments of Reconciliation & First Communion?
The following requirements must be met:

Baptized Catholic - must submit baptism certificate

Entering 2nd grade or higher
-
At least 7 years old, “age of reason” to 17yrs
-
Completed 1 full-year of Faith Formation, or Catholic School “immediately preceding the year of sacrament preparation” (‘24-’25)

Must have at least 80% attendance
-
Letter required if completed at a different parish or Catholic school

If he/she meets the requirements, we will be in touch with the next steps for registration. What requirements must be met during Year 2 in order to receive the sacraments?
All of the following requirements must be met for the current year:

Enrolled in Faith Formation and have attendance of at least 80%

Enrolled in First Communion Year 2

2nd-5th grades: Complete 100% of Sac Prep Curriculum

6th-12th grades: Attend Youth Ministry Sac Prep Sessions

Attend a Reconciliation class & the corresponding Reconciliation Service

Attend a First Communion class
-
Attend the First Sacraments Retreat
-
Attend the rehearsal that corresponds to your First Communion Mass (the Thursday evening before)

Attendance at Holy Mass every Sunday
-
Complete a family service project
Sacrament preparation curriculum is home-based.
Parents will be given the curriculum and instructions to prepare their children to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.
