ACTS Retreats for Men and Women offer a powerful weekend of prayer, community, and renewal. Rooted in Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service, these retreats help you deepen your relationship with Christ and connect more fully with others in the parish.

Join us for the Alliance of the Hearts Devotion—a beautiful expression of love and reparation to the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Each First Saturday, we gather as a parish community to honor their united suffering and love through prayer, reflection, and the Sacraments. Come grow in grace and peace as we walk the path of devotion together.

Family Faith Formation

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace is part of our Family Faith Formation, serving individuals with adaptive or special needs. During the school year, we host a monthly Amazing Grace Mass—a joyful, inclusive celebration where every participant is welcomed, supported, and loved.

Service Drives

Angel Tree

The Angel Tree is our annual Christmas outreach where parishioners choose a child’s angel from the Plaza, shop for their gift, and return the donation to help make a child’s Christmas brighter. Volunteers then wrap the gifts and host a special celebration where the children come to SSJ, enjoy a fun-filled day, and receive their presents with joy and love.

Baby Shower Drive

Our Baby Shower Drive supports the Gabriel Project, which walks alongside mothers who have courageously chosen life. Each fall and on Mother’s Day, we collect baby items to provide practical help and loving support to moms in need.

Backpack Blessing

Start the school year with prayer. Join us for our Backpack Blessing, where students of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks and receive a special blessing for a year filled with wisdom, growth, and God’s grace.

Basketball in the Event Center

Join us for Men’s Basketball in the Event Center—a great way to stay active, build friendships, and grow in fellowship. All skill levels are welcome.

Service Drives

Blood Drive

Give the gift of life! Our Blood Drive, hosted by the Knights of Columbus, takes place in the SSJ parking lot after Sunday Masses in the fall and spring. A simple act of service that makes an extraordinary difference.

Boo Bash

All are welcome to our Boo Bash from 6:00–9:00 PM in the Event Center! This family-friendly, faith-filled evening will feature costumes, games, treats, and fun for all ages.

Box of Joy

Box of Joy is a simple way to bring Christmas to children in need. Partnering with Cross Catholic Outreach, we fill shoeboxes with small gifts and necessities and send them to our mission parish in Guatemala. Join us in spreading joy!

Brown Scapular

The Brown Scapular Devotion is a sign of dedication to the Blessed Virgin Mary and a commitment to live a life of prayer and faith. Wearing the scapular is a daily reminder of Mary’s protection and her call to follow Christ more closely.

Join us for our Cross Catholic Outreach Food Packing Event, where volunteers of all ages come together to pack life-saving meals for children and families in need around the world. It’s a hands-on way to live out our call to serve.

Join us for our Campus Clean-Up as we come together to care for our parish home! Help us clean the church, tend the gardens, and freshen up our shared spaces while building community through service.

Catechism Huddle

Catechism Huddles are monthly Sunday gatherings where adults dive deeper into the truths of the faith explored in our Faith Formation sessions. These small group-style discussions build on the topics from our Adult Breakouts, offering space for reflection, conversation, and community.

Clothes Drive

Help us clothe children in need! Our Clothing Drive, in partnership with the Guardian Angel Closet, supports our Holy Week Missions and Freedom Festival Day of Service. We’re collecting new and gently used children’s clothing—join us in making a difference!

Communal First Saturday

Communal First Saturday is held on the first Saturday of each month at Sts. Simon & Jude. In response to Our Lady of Fatima’s request, we gather for Confession, Rosary, Mass, and meditation to offer reparation and grow in love for the Immaculate Heart of Mary. All are welcome to take part in this beautiful devotion.

Join us in the Church every Wednesday as we unite in praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Edge Night

Edge Nights are weekly gatherings for 6th–8th graders filled with faith, fun, and friendship. Join us Wednesdays from 6:30–8:00 PM for games, small groups, and special events like movie nights, Thanksgiving food drives, Christmas caroling, Holy Week Missions, and more!

Family Faith Formation

Faith Formation Sunday

Family Faith Formation Sundays are for the whole family—not a drop-off program. Parents and children grow in faith together through engaging breakouts, Sunday Mass, and a parish lunch. It’s a joyful way to build faith and community as a family.

Family Breakout Groups

During Faith Formation Sundays, families break out by age group. While children head to their classrooms for interactive lessons, parents gather in Domec Hall to dive deeper into the Catechism and grow in their own understanding of the faith.
