Anointing of the Sick
Jesus came to heal the whole person, body, and soul. In the Church's Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, through the ministry of the priest, it is Jesus who touches the sick to heal them from sin – and sometimes even from physical ailment.
Anointing of the Sick in the Church
Our parish offers anointing of the sick to those who have serious surgery, who are at home, in the hospital, or who are in danger of dying.
If one of our parishioners is concerned about their own death or the death of a loved one, they may call the church office.
-
For home visitations
We will schedule an anointing with Father Thomas or Father Kailas.
-
For hospital visitations
If you or a loved one are currently staying at a hospital, contact the Catholic Chaplain Corps for a hospital visitation by a priest.
-
Healing Mass
SSJ also offers a monthly healing Mass on the first Friday of the month at 7:30 PM.
This Mass is open to the public and all are welcome to participate in this healing celebration.
-
