Prerequisites:

Year One Formation

Pillars of the Faith p.1 

(Creed, Sacraments, Morality, Prayer)

​

Expectation of Participation:

  • Participation in ongoing systematic catechesis

    • Minimum: 70% attendance​

  • Full conscious and active participation in weekly Sunday liturgical and sacramental life of the Church

  • Active participation in the mission of the Church

  • Consistent living of the moral life

  • Engagement in personal and communal prayer​​

Year Two Formation

Pillars of the Faith p.2

(Creed, Sacraments, Morality, Prayer)

​

Expectation of Participation:

  • A retreat at the beginning of formation focused on building community in Christ

  • A retreat prior to the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation

  • Candidate formational sessions

    • Minimum: 70% attendance​

  • Opportunities for service and reflection on the meaning of service as part of the discipleship
