"Welcome, Journey With Us" Retreat | October 14

A Parish-wide retreat starting at 8:30 a.m. with Mass in the Chapel.

​

For those who joined us in February at our “Journey through Lent” Day of Reflection, this retreat will be very similar, in that it will be interactive.  We will again partner with someone at our table and move outside for some time to enjoy God's creation and our Texas fall weather.

 

Our RCIA Catechumen and Candidates will join us as we unpack the return of the prodigal son.  Just as the prodigal son returns when his eyes are open to his family, so too are those coming for the Rite of Acceptance.

 

We are asking our small groups to sign up as a group so we can continue to share our faith and strengthen our bounds as small communities within our SSJ community. We all have mountains to climb in life and we need each other and community to help us on this climb.

 

Please reach out to your small groups and invite them to join you.  Some of you, as well as your members, are in several different small groups, so you will have to decide which group you want to sit with. Mark your calendars and use the link below to sign up.

 

If your small group cannot come, no worries, we will place you at a table with others to faith share.

Dear Friend, St. Simon & Jude Catholic Church is preparing for our annual Bingo, Silent Auction & Fall Festival, on October 27-28, 2023 at our very own SSJ Event Center. All funds raised will go towards these programs that contribute to the strengthening of our parish community.
